Tool Systems for Grooving with SPK® Cutting Materials
CeramTec’s grooving systems enable external grooving, internal grooving, axial grooving and undercutting with SPK® ceramic cutting materials, CBN and cermets.
The sturdy design of the grooving blades and easy-to-use clamping systems guarantee absolutely secure positioning of the grooving insert. The perfectly distributed clamping force counteracts the lateral and tangential forces. This makes it possible to realize even the highest cutting values with process reliability while simultaneously achieving optimum concentricity. CeramTec grooving systems enable machining operations such as exterior and interior grooving and undercutting. CeramTec also offers solutions for grooving V-belt profiles, e.g. according to DIN 2211, and for the insertion of poly V profiles.
